Project I2KM

Matrix and Knowledge Centric Organization (M&KCO) requirements demands:

• Information and Knowledge Sharing,
• "Duty to Share" and "Push & Pull" principle applied,
• Collaborative Environment,
• Static & Deployable,
• Lowest Classification possible,
• Pro-active SMEs
• CIS subordinate and updates,
• "Harmonized" planning,
• Working Jointly,
• Facilitatd "Plug and Play".

Intelligence, Information & Knowledge Management (I2KM) system is projected, designed and set for facilitating the management of:

CIS Frameworks & Updates, Information, and Processes on Information.

Supporting:

a C2 structure, and the Decision Making Process,
tailored to:
the Decision Maker and the SMEs rewuirements.

It should be defined as the combination of:

- IM (Managment of the Information and of the Flow of Information within the Communicative & Informative Systems),

- KM (Management of resources, processes, functions, and services supporting the Knowledge Centric Organization),

- Intel-M (Management of the DM and SMEs Knowledge-uncertainty and Intel-Info Organization).

I2KM goal is to:

• set C2 structure tailored to the Info-Requirements,
• increase awareness,
• minimize resource footprint (deployment),
• optimize operational effectiveness,
• maximize operational "Tempo",
• facilitate timly Decision Making Process.

I2KM system, operational and documented in JAPCC, is heavily connected with ongoing CIS development.
Due to the potential capability to tailor C2 Info-Requirements and Resource Management to influence the Effects on Operations, I2KM is analyzed to be a possible application and essential requirement towards the Effect Based Approach to Opertions (EBAO).
Therefore, it requires resources for further developments.

I2KM, the art of exploiting the CIS capability to the maximum extent, is a JAPCC product.
